I'm expecting to be able to cope with 25 and 30 much easier than most. Here's my reasoning. When you hit 24, you start thinking HOLY COW...24, I remember looking up to people that were 24 and thinking how old they were...next year is 25 and there was so much I always thought I would do before reaching 25. I'm assuming that when 29 comes, I'll have the same thought process...YIKES! I only have 1 year to get done everything that I wanted to accomplish before I was 30. I guess it's the 1 year panic before a big milestone that has me thinking about where I am in my life.
Things I've checked off of my so called "Bucket List" would include
*Living on my own
*Finishing College
*Getting a higher degree
*Getting Married
*Moving away from Family and Friends and living somewhere different (God has a sense of humor)
*Traveling
My list continues to grow, but so far it includes
Niagara Falls, Canada
London, England
Paris, France
Florence, Italy
Rome, Italy
The Island of Capri
Athens, Greece
Prague, Czech Republic
Bratislava, Slovakia
Vienna, Austria
Budapest, Hungary
While I guess, that is a pretty decent list to look at...there are still so many things I want to work on.
I've never put my Bucket List out there, but here it goes... IN NO ORDER AT ALL
(O.K only some of it...certain things I want to keep private)
*Pay for someone's meal at a restaurant
*Leave a really big tip
*Visit the 50 states with Matt before our 50 year anniversary
*Move home
*Start a family (however it may happen...naturally or I've always been open to adoption)
*Become successful
*Define success in my own terms (and don't let anyone tell me otherwise)
*Get a dog (or 2)
*Never stop studying the bible
*ALWAYS work on my marriage
*Take my children abroad
*Get Matt to Europe (CHECKING THIS OFF THIS SUMMER)
*Raise my family to be strong in Faith
*Go back to Europe with my girlfriends (CHECKING THIS OFF THIS SUMMER)
*Travel (this will NEVER be checked off because it's something I want to always do)
-Visit Hachenburg Germany with my family
*Take an unplanned road trip
*Go to a Superbowl
*Be in New Orleans for Mardi Gras
*Sleep under the stars (no tent/RV/Camper...etc...)
*Volunteer my time (will probably also never be taken off of the list)
*Say yes to everything for an entire day
*Get away with just Matt for at least 1 long weekend at least once a year
*Teach my kids how to climb a tree
*Create a time capsule
*Learn to play golf (sorry Matt, but at least it isn't "learn to snow ski") haha
*Learn a little German
*Learn ASL
*Take Dance Lessons (with Matt and our closest friends)
This list is ALWAYS changing...things are being checked off...added...etc...
Maybe next year, I'll post the most updated version and we can see what has/hasn't changed!

Awesome goals Brit!!!
