Mason Jars

Oh how I love Mason Jars!  I love them so much that they were all over our wedding!  From the signs welcoming people to the church...

To the centerpieces...

To the signature drink...and everything in between!

To say I have a few extra mason jars laying around would be an understatement!

I've given quite a few away...but had to find new homes for the rest!

I've found that they make great pasta holders!

I've also planned to save them for any parties that I throw in the future - always fun for favors!

Look at this idea I just found over at Merriment Events.  They're called Mason Jar Meals!

I would love to have a summer picnic and serve this!  

It's a mason jar with a little pesto at the bottom, topped with tomatoes, mozzarella cheese and some cold/cooked pasta.  Perfect little snack, and if not for a party then at least to pack in a lunch box and take to work with you!
