Our Weekend in Pictures

Friday afternoon started off with a friendly bowling match between Matt and I.  The first game was much closer in points but of course, the only picture that Matt took was of the scoreboard from the second game.  I choked. It was ugly, but we had so much fun competing against each other!

After bowling we headed out to dinner at a great sushi restaurant downtown.  They have the best roll that has asparagus and cream cheese...yum!  We decided to order calamari as an appetizer.  Usually (as in every time I've ever ordered it) the calamari comes fried.  It almost looks like mini onion rings, so I put it out of my mind that it is actually squid and I'm able to eat it.  Not the case this time.  This is what we got...gross!

On Saturday we were thankful for beautiful weather as we had already decided to head over to Huntington for Chili Fest.  Yum!  The chili was so good and there was even a booth that scooped their chili into a bag of fritos.  Heaven.  It reminded me of Traveling Nachos from elementary school and brought back good memories!  haha

Once chili fest was over we went back to the apartment to watch the Penn State game and nap off all of the chili we had just consumed.  Saturday night we spent time with Riikka and Kelly and some of their friends watching football at their apartment and we managed to get cabs (yes, they actually have those in West Virginia) to take us over to the casino for the night.

(This is Lilly - Kelly and Riikka's Min Pin...she's so cute!!!)

To recover from a fun night out we went to lunch at Adelphia's this afternoon for a greek gyro and some football.

Once lunch was over, we headed over to Capital Market to see what was out as the seasons are changing.  It really got me in the mood for fall!
