After getting a bit of the run-around from the travel companies, we've decided to do things on our own. We all agreed that we would prefer to travel this way, we just thought that the logistics for such a big group would be a night mare. Who pays for what? Are we really going to ask for separate checks every night at dinner? How will we book flights and ensure we're all together? What about Hostel/Hotel reservations?
It really is a lot to think about, but we're so excited to start planning! Also, it helps that planning this on our own will end up saving close to $1,000. We're thinking about starting in Northern Italy (Milan?) and traveling to Austria, Germany, Switzerland and ending back in Northern Italy! A few of the girls may even stay a couple of extra days and explore a little more of Italy! So exciting!
