The other day Matt and I laid the ground rules...
1) It doesn't count if you just drove through.
*Like the trips we've recently made that had us drive through Maryland and Delaware
2) It doesn't count if you flew into an airport in that state.
*Like our recent layover in Atlanta.
3) It doesn't count if you were making a long trip and just stayed the night in a hotel on the way to your actual destination.
*Like our night in Charlotte, NC on our way to Hilton Head.
We are 4 days shy of being married for 5 months, and I'd have to say that in the last 5 months we've put a pretty big dent in the whole 50 states in 50 years challenge!
State #1
Virginia - where we were on the day we got married, and where we have visited numerous times since then!
Taken at Libby Park in Downtown Richmond, VA
State #2
West Virginia - Where we drove to 2 days after the wedding, and now live.
Taken on the Kanawha River in Charleston, WV.
State #3
South Carolina - Annual Summer Vacation with the Mantiply Family!
Taken at Hilton Head, SC - July 2011
State #4
Pennsylvania - of course, for the annual football celebrations cheering on the Nittany Lions!
Taken Labor Day Weekend - September 2011 at our PSU tailgate!
State #5
Florida - A whirlwind weekend at Universal Studios!
Taken at Universal's City Walk - October 2011

One for each month of marriage! At this rate you'll be done in just over 4 years! Love, math teacher Miss H.
